REQUIREMENTS FOR ENROLLMENT

Specific Instructions to Parents/Legal Guardians and Enrollees:
In-person enrollment:
– The parents or legal guardians of Kindergarten learners shall communicate/reaffirm their intent to enroll their children via physical enrollment and submission of the Enhanced BEEF.
– Grades 1 to 6, learners who have existing accounts in the LIS (i.e., have Learner Reference Numbers [LRNs]) will still need to update their information by filling out the Enhanced BEEF. It is the responsibility of the school personnel to ensure that the updated information is reflected in the LIS.

KINDER:
1) PSA Birth Certificate, Local Birth Certificate, Baptismal, OR Barangay Certificate
2) Accomplished Basic Education Enrollment Form that can be acquired from the enrolling officer

Grades 1 to 6:
1) School Form 9 (School Report Card)
2) PSA Birth Certificate, Local Birth Certificate, Baptismal, OR Barangay Certificate
3) Good Moral Certificate
4) Accomplished Basic Education Enrollment Form that can be acquired from the enrolling officer

WHAT IS THE K TO 12 PROGRAM?

The K to 12 Program covers 13 years of basic education with the following key stages:
Kindergarten to Grade 3
Grades 4 to 6
Grades 7 to 10 (Junior High School)
Grades 11 and 12 (Senior High School)

WHAT IS THE REQUIRED AGE FOR KINDERGARTEN IN PHILIPPINES?

Age qualification for Kindergarten learners in both public and private schools should be five (5) years old by October 1 (changes of month may occur) of every calendar year.
